More and more Polish companies are starting to cooperate with universities. AWILUX has joined their ranks by establishing cooperation with the Leszno-based Academy of Applied Sciences. What opportunities does this type of cooperation offer?
Cooperation between companies and universities can make a significant contribution to technological development and innovation in the industry, which can bring many benefits. This is especially important in today's dynamic business environment, where innovative solutions are key to success.
AWILUX's cooperation with the Academy of Applied Sciences will involve, among other things, analysis, scientific and expert supervision during the implementation of the "Industry 4.0" system in our company, co-creation of an integrated production planning system of the APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) type including the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system, dedicated to the production of window frames, as well as building contacts between students and technologists and process engineers.
Companies can also take advantage of grants and subsidies for research projects conducted together with universities. This can significantly reduce research and development costs.
In addition, CEO Marek Sprengel has been appointed as a member of the employers' council operating at the Polytechnic Institute of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Leszno.
