Comfortable ventilation with PADK fittings
Systematic ventilation is important for a healthy indoor climate. It increases the comfort of living, and also allows you to avoid fungus on the walls. Unfortunately, leaving the windows open is an invitation to potential burglars, and also creates the risk of flooding the rooms during heavy rainfall. Specialized PADK fittings are the answer to these inconveniences. The PADK fitting is indispensable in the kitchen and bathroom, i.e. where everyday use causes the accumulation of steam and moisture.
Health and comfort
Bad room ventilation can be fatal for our health. The lack of air circulation causes condensation of water vapor and the formation of mold blooms on the walls. It is not indifferent to our health and well-being. Mold and fungus can contribute to the development of serious diseases and aggravate the symptoms of allergy sufferers. Mold formation is a special problem for them. Windows with PADK fittings prevent the appearance of mold and fungus blooms on the walls. Thanks to the possibility of moving the sash away from the frame by 6 mm, this solution enables a continuous supply of fresh air into the room.
Savings
Airing the rooms - especially in winter - is associated with large heat losses, and thus the need for additional heating of the rooms, which translates into higher bills. Thanks to its function, the window with PADK hardware allows air circulation while maintaining a constant temperature inside. When the sash is moved away from the frame along its entire circumference, the heated air from the inside escapes from the top, and fresh air from the outside flows in from the bottom, slowly dispersing throughout the room. Thanks to this, during ventilation there is no significant loss of heat - as in the case of a tilt window.
Security
The PADK function allows you to ventilate the room regardless of the weather and without the risk of burglary when you are away. The activPilot Comfort fitting by Winkhaus used by us allows for effective ventilation through a 6-millimeter gap, preventing an unwanted guest from entering the interior of the house.
